Environmental sustainability

At BrandsFirst, environmental sustainability is a fundamental pillar. We develop concentrated formulas that significantly reduce water consumption, both in the manufacturing process and in final use by the consumer. This approach minimises environmental impact while providing greater efficiency for consumers.

FSC certification

All the packaging boxes are FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified, which guarantees that the raw materials come from responsibly managed forests. However, the commitment to sustainability goes beyond the origin of the materials.

The innovative packaging design is a clear example of our holistic approach to sustainability. We have developed an ergonomic format that makes it easier for consumers to handle, and which also significantly optimises logistical efficiency. This innovation allows us to accommodate a greater number of units per box and, consequently, per transport operation.

Efficient logistics

For example, while a standard pallet of similar products typically carries 720 units, the optimised packaging allows 960 units to be transported on the same pallet. This logistical efficiency translates into a substantial reduction in CO2 emissions associated with the distribution of our products.

By increasing the transport capacity per pallet by more than 30%, we have proportionally reduced the number of journeys needed to distribute the same volume of product, which means fewer lorries on the roads, lower fuel consumption and, consequently, a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.

This integrated approach - from concentrated formulation to logistical optimisation - demonstrates our commitment to considering the environmental impact at every stage of the product's life cycle. With a manufacturing process certified by IFS Food (International Featured Standard), we ensure the highest standards of quality and safety, where all raw materials are sourced from certified suppliers, guaranteeing quality and ethical compliance throughout our supply chain.
